Do children really enjoy a bouncy castle.

under the right conditions yes here are our top 5 safety aspects to consider if you are thinking of getting one just to keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holidays.

  • the 3 s’s
  • have you space ! Dont squeeze it into a front garden make sure children can walk around it safely.
  • Who will supervise it ! never leave it unsupervised
  • Wet and slippery a NO! take it down on wet days even if there is a cover on it.
  • Do not put mixed ages of children on it little ones under 3 have had nose bleeds due to boisterous older kids hitting them with their feet etc.
  • Limit the amount of children on it at a time too many is asking for accidents.
  • Give each group a time limit or the older ones won’t come off.
  •  Give children a fair go then be firm or they will ignore you when its time to get off a mum trying to climb on to get a child off is funny difficult and embarising too .
  • Take out insurance and read the small print do what it says don’t cut corners thinking oh they will be fine.
  •  Children have known to be seriously ill from a head injury on bouncy castles unsupervised.
